Ronny Levy’s side have taken full advantage of the sluggish start by title challengers APOEL, Omonia, Apollon, AEK and AEL and could move four points ahead of second place AEK – who suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at Nea Salamina on the weekend – if they beat Doxa at the Antonis Papadopoulos Stadium at 7pm.
APOEL and Apollon – who are both in European action this week – were both held to draws against Aris and AEL respectively and have lost ground in the league title race.
