“The Austrians, members of the EU Support Group for Cyprus, were asked from the Interior Ministry to look into the complicated and out-dated way permits have been granted and to propose legal and other measures to be taken,” an informed source said.
“The proposed central authority will be issuing ‘two in one’ permits in a bid to get rid of unnecessary red tape and minimise the number of departments dealing with permits,” added the source.
