This Saturday will see the inaugural Orange Festival take place in Miliou, Paphos and promises to be a popular event. Held at the Miliou village community square (next to the old school) at 7pm it will showcase the various products made with the humble orange by the community.
Orange liqueur, beer, marmalades etc will be displayed and visitors may try and potentially buy should they wish. In the main festival area visitors will find a range of stalls with food, drinks and natural orange products combined with traditional Cypriot music and dances. Folklore Group "KTIMA" will also be performing during the evening adding to the authentic flavour of this festival.
The Orange Festival is part of a series of events relating to the Pafos 2017 European Capital of Culture programme.
