Initial findings in prison death indicate heart...

The 37-year-old Polish inmate who was found dead in his cell at the Central Prison in Nicosia is believed to have died from a heart attack according to the Prison Services.

In a press release on Friday, the Prison Services announced the unfortunate death of the inmate.

“The 37-year-old Polish inmate was found unconscious on the floor of his cell by wardens,” said the announcement.

The prison medical officer was called to the scene as was a state coroner who pronounced him dead.

Initial findings point that the 37-year-old died from a heart attack.
