A total of 1,960 flights to and from Cyprus’ two international airports are scheduled to take place until Sunday, August 13, marking the first wave of increased passenger traffic in August.

Hermes Airports Spokesman Adamos Aspris told CNA today that Larnaca and Paphos airports are expected to accommodate a total of 320,000 passengers this week. “On average, there will be 280 flights on a daily basis, serving 45,000 passengers” he said.

These are mostly flights to and from the UK, Russia, Greece, Central Europe and Israel.
