There has been unprecedented air traffic at the airports in Larnaca and Paphos with Sunday seeing 347 flights transporting 60,000 passengers in and out of Cyprus.

According to airport operator Hermes Airports spokesman Adamos Aspris, this constituted a new record in flight numbers for the two airports.
