Kotzias will attend a National Council meeting to discuss the negotiations’ next steps after the collapse of talks at the Swis Alpine resort of Crans-Montana.
Asked by reporters in Brussels to commend on both Ministers visiting Cyprus the same day, Kotzias said of Cavusoglu: “He found out I’m visiting Cyprus and he decided to do the same thing.
“He continues to follow me…that’s not a bad thing as long as he has the same goals,” said Kotzias.
Earlier, in an interview to media platform Euractive, Kotzias said the European Union should take a clearer stance over Turkey’s demand for intervention rights in a member state such as Cyprus.
