“The meeting with the Cypriot Minister of Defense Christoforos Fokaides took place at the Zenon crisis management center which was inaugurated in 2017 by the President of the Republic of Cyprus,” a press release from the French embassy in Nicosia said.
“It gave the opportunity to discuss bilateral relations between France and Cyprus in the field of defense. Both countries reaffirmed their intention to further deepen their cooperation, in line with the intergovernmental defense agreement signed in April 2017,” it added.
