Organised by the Nicosia Shooting Club under the auspices of the Federation Internationale de Tir Aux Sportives de Chasse (FITASC), 180 athletes from 17 countries have so far registered to participate in the event.
According to Nicosia Shooting Club President Loukas Psimolofitis, it is expected that the event will draw over 200 athletes from 20 different countries.
According to the programme, participating athletes will be able to practice on the firing range from March 29-31 followed by two days of stiff competition.
The competition, which includes 200 discs – 100 each day – will take place on four ranges with athletes participating in the men’s, women’s, teens, veterans’ and super veterans’ categories.
The award ceremony will take place on Sunday afternoon
