Speaking to state radio, Meteorological Service official Panayiotis Mouskos said, “We expect rain but not as much as what we saw on the weekend”.
“We are expecting conditions to be mainly cloudy for Monday and Tuesday with the chance of isolated showers – mainly inland and in the higher regions.”
WATER LEVELS STILL DOWN AT DAMS DESPITE RECENT RAIN
Mouskos also said temperatures are expected to be around 18°C inland and 19°C on the coasts, something which he said was the norm for this time of year. Mountain temperatures will reach 4°C.
“The same pattern is expected to follow for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. During those days, we could see some storms occur while we could also see some sleet in on Troodos or maybe even snow. By this coming weekend, the weather is expected to improve even more,” he added.
