Police warn of exercise at Larnaca mall

Cyprus police have announced that "next Tuesday 08.11.2022, between the hours of 09.30-11.30, an exercise called "Zenon 2022" for the management of a terrorist attack, will take place at the Metropolis Mall in Larnaca.

Members of the Police, Fire Service, Ambulance Service and security service of the mall will participate in the exercise.

The aim of the exercise is to determine the degree of readiness, response, but also the coordination of the relevant services.

In view of the above, it is pointed out that there is absolutely no reason for concern from the public, since this is an exercise."
