Another case of monkeypox has been confirmed by the health ministry on Wednesday, bringing the tally of confirmed cases so far to four.

The latest case involves a 46-year-old man with no prior travel history who showed clinical symptoms compatible with monkeypox, which was confirmed following a molecular laboratory test carried out by the microbiological laboratory at Nicosia general hospital.
