Daily new cases in Cyprus mark steady climb

The Health Ministry on Tuesday announced 176 coronavirus cases on Tuesday, marking a steady increase in the number of daily cases. Total coronavirus cases reached 33,567.

No coronavirus fatalities were recorded, with the death toll remaining steady at 230.

The new cases emerged after 27,762 tests were conducted. Among new cases, 83 involved people who tested positive to a rapid test.

The remaining 53 were contacts, two were airport arrivals, 27 were people who took the initiative to get tested, eight were tested at a general hospital, one was tested either upon the suggestion of their GP or...
