The fatalities involved three men, aged 79, 89, and 91, and two women, aged 88 and 92, all of whom suffered from underlying health conditions.
The new cases emerged after 9,384 tests were conducted. Of the 162 new cases, 80 involved people who tested positive to a rapid test.
The remaining 43 were contacts, six were arrivals to Cyprus airports, 18 were people who took the initiative to get tested, 13 were people who got tested at general hospitals,...
