The first two weeks of the new year have seen almost six thousand Covid-cases, according to the latest collective epidemiological data as released by the health ministry, relating to the period ending on January 12.

This period (30 December-January 12) saw 5 thousand 907 covid cases, with an average age of 39, while people in Intensive Care Units had an average age of 67.

The total number of cases had reached 27 thousand 827 up until January 12, with 665 cases every 100 thousand people.

More than 67 percent of those who were infected, made a full recovery.
