Earthquake felt in Cyprus and Turkey

An earthquake was felt in several areas in Cyprus on Saturday afternoon.

According to Reaction NGO, the earthquake was felt at around 2.45 pm in several areas.

There has been no official information as yet. According to Reaction, the earthquake was off the coast of Cyprus and east of Rhodes island.

Reuters reported that an earthquake of magnitude 5.4 shook Turkey’s Mediterranean coast.

People from various areas in the districts of Limassol, Nicosia and Larnaca said they felt the shake. It was also felt in the north.
