Tickets for the Celine Dion, Courage World Tour in Nicosia went on sale this morning but "huge demand" left many buyers frustrated.
Ticket website SoldOut posted on their Facebook page:
"Due to huge demand, it might be difficult to you to get connected. Sales have started and many people have bought already. We kindly ask you to keep trying to book your Celine Dion Tickets."
At present, when visiting the ticket outlet's site, an error message is being returned and buyers are unable to purchase tickets.
Posting on their Facebook page, frustrated buyers have been having issues since this morning. Once able to view the sales page, buyers reported that payment pages were hanging, payments taken but tickets not initially displaying, problems viewing pages and a raft of other errors. One commentator reported already seeing the tickets on sale at an inflated price on another site.
Celine will be making her first appearance on the island and demand for tickets for the concert was expected to be high.
Visiting nearly 100 cities worldwide, the concert supports Celine’s first English album in 6 years.
Described as representing "an exciting new creative direction for Celine and fans will have a chance to hear songs from the new album throughout the journey of the Courage World Tour".
Tickets for the Cyprus concert, which will take place on August 2nd 2020 at GSP Stadium in Nicosia, went on sale this morning at 11am local time on www.soldoutticketbox.com
