Monday’s collapse of British global travel giant Thomas Cook will have a significant impact on Cyprus tourism, with short and longer term effects.

Tourism Deputy Minister Savvas Perdios, who presided over a broad meeting Monday morning, told the press that 250,000 tourists visit Cyprus on Thomas Cook packages annually generating an estimated revenue of €188 million.
