Cyprus’ trade deficit rose sharply to €503,5 mn in June 2019 from €47,7 mn in the same month of 2018, as imports increased and exports decreased, according to preliminary figures of the Statistical Service of Cyprus.

Cystat reported that “on the basis of preliminary estimates for the foreign trade of Cyprus in June 2019, total imports were €731,3 mn as compared to €643,3 mn in June 2018”.
