Volunteers collect close to 2 tonnes of recyclables after Limassol carnival parade

Volunteers collected nearly 2 tonnes of recyclable waste after the Carnival parade in Limassol, on Sunday, NGO “Friends of the Earth Cyprus” has said.

Post-parade recycling operation, organised by the NGO with the participation of 23 volunteers, lasted 4 hours and covered a distance of approximately 2.5 kilometres, it has written on Facebook .
