Α 41-year-old Cypriot police officer on Wednesday rescued an 18-month old baby in Greece that had lost consciousness during breastfeeding, it was reported on Thursday.

According to the Cyprus News Agency (CNA), the officer, Marios Aristides, while on holiday in Athens, gave first aid to the infant which lost consciousness, reportedly while breastfeeding in the car.

Aristides, who is a first aid trainer, told CNA, that while walking in the street, a car pulled over next to him and a couple inside it were calling for help for their baby.
