The saying ‘Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned’ comes to mind when hearing the events that unfold in Euripides’ ancient tragedy Medea.

The story of a mother who takes the lives of her own children will be performed as part of the International Festival of Ancient Greek Drama by the Hungarian theatre company Spectrum Theatre on Monday in Nicosia, and on Wednesday in Paphos.
