A 27-year-old man was remanded for three days on Wednesday in connection with a shooting incident in Paphos.

He is suspected of trespassing into a 45-year-old man’s property in Yiolou, Paphos to try and steal his dogs while having his face covered, carrying a gun.

The older man shot at him twice, calling police himself to tell them what happened. He also told officers the two of them had differences.

Police arrested the older man him and though the whereabouts of the 27-year-old were unknown, he eventually turned up at Paphos hospital with a lawyer, where he was...
